I've had to cancel going to Southampton Lard tomorrow :(
Car was loaded with terrain, then steering wheel clockspring failed, so no airbag, horn, controls. Taking it to the garage tomorrow.
Gutted though, was looking forward to it, and feel awful for @markbackhouse29.bsky.social

I've enjoyed a fantastic year of wargaming, despite a very quiet summer with GCSEs and a holiday. But great fun at Lard Days and shows, and some amazing games with friends. Plus, picked up 2 Best in Show Awards and featured in a French national newspaper! Here's to more of the same in 2026!

I finished up a Christmas present from @tomjmegan.bsky.social - a pair of excellent 3d printed ruined farm buildings. Painted up to look just like a building 5 mins from Montcornet, my next table. So, perfect! Cheers Tom , these were great fun

Pretty good proxy for the old station at Montcornet. I'm not trying for an exact replica, and wanted to use a 3d print I had.
A pretty good compromise.

Last year @tomjmegan.bsky.social was kind enough to give me a dozen 3d printed buildings. They've basically all been done now, but earlier today I looked in the box and found a train station. And with sone modifications and scratch bits , i can get a good proxy for Montcornet (my next table)
