A companion piece to the other "reaching tree"...I love how this one forms an arch and pushes its branches right back down into the undergrowth.

I find myself vacillating between fear and courage for sure...but after the April 5 protests bringing 6 million (2.5% of the population of this country!) together, I'm leaning toward courage.
Fear has a way of being contagious.

But courage is also contagious.

I don't often pay much attention to the stock market, but this seems, you know...bad. Are we great yet?
Worst two-day stock market crashes in the U.S. by percentage loss:

1. 1929 (the Great Depression)

2. 1987 (Black Monday)

3. 2008 (the Great Recession)

4. YESTERDAY AND TODAY

And while this happened, the man responsible for it was golfing and dining with enemies of America.

I'm amazed. We designed this a couple days ago and already it's moving like crazy...and we didn't really tell many about our new efforts at politicalsidequest.com other than some locals & visitors to our printing studio on Whidbey Island. It's encouraging to see people so engaged in resistance!

Just printed two of these large (by request) for the protest on Saturday...alongside now dozens of requests this week for our own designs (available at @politicalsidequest.bsky.social) The demand is much higher ahead of this protest than previous marches...

Part of my Rainforest Reset series...
It hangs beside my desk as a big canvas in my printing studio (Feather &Fox Print Co.), reminding me that despite our doomscrolling and the upside-down world, there is always beauty to be found, and awe to experience.
