Galaxy Quest - a perfect movie, just a wonderful love letter to actors, sci-fi, Star Trek in particular, and to fandom - really deserves a proper physical release with decent extras. Think Weaver's right that releasing a R-rated cut would be fun, too.

So are we switching up allegory to talk about late stage capitalism & tech oligarchies or is it still about communism? I fear this movie is going to muddle its message so bad that we're not going to have any clue WHAT it's try to say but it'll be saying it badly. This trailer depresses me so much
I have...I have no words. All I can do is hand Andy Serkis his well deserved "worst adaptation of an important literary classic in the history of film" trophy and find a nice corner to cry in.
