How does one get added to a starter pack of introverted, insecure neurotics?

Nah, never mind. I'm not worthy of being added to a starter pack. And I'm worried that people might start interacting with me if I do get added to one.
This afternoon in Nice, I took in a bit of a happening, climbed a hill, and walked along a seaside promenade. It was a much more enjoyable afternoon than it likely sounds from the preceding sentence. Read about it here: journeys.klebanoff.com/2026/02/coll...
Colline du Château and More – Joel's Journeys & Jaunts
My primary destination this afternoon was Colline du Château, but I took in a bit of a happening before then, and afterwards I promenaded for a while.

This morning, I visited Vieux-Nice, Nice’s old town. It was charming and gorgeous. Before that, I took a look at a church on the way to Vieux-Nice. Here’s my journal entry about that: journeys.klebanoff.com/2026/02/vieu...
Vieux-Nice and More – Joel's Journeys & Jaunts
’m happy to report that such a neighbourhood does exist in Nice. It’s formally called Vieux-Nice (Old-Nice) or, sometimes, Vielle Ville (Old Town).

I’ve arrived in Nice, France. For a couple of reasons that I mention in my journal entry, I didn’t do much here today. Consider this as little more than an introductory post for my time in Nice: journeys.klebanoff.com/2026/02/nice...
Nice is Nice – Joel's Journeys & Jaunts
I left Arles this morning and didn’t arrive at my hotel in Nice, France, until about 3:00 in the afternoon. So I haven’t had enough time to fully assess if

I leave Arles tomorrow morning. I finished my time here by visiting a couple more sites of Vincent van Gogh paintings and wandering around the old city some more. Here’s my account of that and a summary of my time in Arles: journeys.klebanoff.com/2026/02/pont...
Pont Van Gogh and Arles Wandering – Joel's Journeys & Jaunts
The sun was breaking through, and no rain was forecast. Based on that, I decided to take a more than half-hour walk out to Pont Van Gogh.
