No greater thoughts here but I remember being at a Dynamite taping and Kazarian wrestled Ted Goodz in an Elevation match. It’s early and the crowd is filing in, so clear as day I hear this guy scream in the most Boston accent possible HEY FRANKIE GO FUHCK YAHSELF

I was down on the Blood and Guts concept and felt for this year they were stipulations that needed a match and not the other way around, but damn if this wasn’t a fun night all around

Can’t fault the effort there, some really gnarly bumps and big time bleeding. Too cute in parts (but not as much as I feared)

I think AEW should swap out Blood n’ Guts for a Cibernetico. Do it Chikara style so there’s one winner and they get a title shot at a PPV. You can base it around a feud and have wrestlers recruits teammates, because there’s incentive to be in it. Makes for a good yearly event.

Didn’t go see Cena in Boston last night but I did the math & I’ve seen him live 18 times since 2003 so I scratched that itch. It would have been 19 but he got a concussion so instead of Punk vs Cena at a house show I saw Punk vs Big Show in a lumberjack match (that ended in a DQ)

WWE house show I attended 22 years ago today. The wrestling ws quite good for a house show, especially the main event and the WGTT/Spanky&London match (I distinctly remember they did time calls in that match for some reason). Remains the only time I have seen Ultimo Dragon live.

It was cool when WCW had so many teams they could do a top 11 list, although things admittedly drop off a cliff starting with team #9
