On my way to war-torn Portland for a conference. Anyone know of a theater showing OBAA on celluloid on the south west side, reasonably close to the Portland State campus? If it’s screening on 70 or even 35 nearby, I might treat myself tonight.

I’m taking care of my upstairs neighbor’s cat for the weekend. They tried to introduce me to the cat last night but it was skittish around the stranger and wouldn’t come out. I just ordered sushi and I’m gonna eat it with my hands and then I’m gonna go up there and make friends with that cat.

I enjoyed Way of Water because it hijacked the synaptic pathways that watching Free Willy on VHS every day after school created in my brain thirty years ago, but everything I see about Fire & Ash has me thinking I’m going to go back to being an Avatar hater for this next one. Sorry everybody
