At 6 am this morning, I had the honour of presenting a 2 hour PD session for the languages department at Tanglin Trust School in Singapore. This session, titled "Supercharge Your Language Teaching with AI", was tailored for a faculty of nearly 20 people.

Between my keynote and workshop at yesterday's World Language Conference at International School Basel, I also managed to fit in an hour-long online session for language teachers from The Consortium Academy Trust.

For my second session at today's World Language Conference at International School Basel, I delivered a highly practical workshop titled "AI in Action: Practical Tools for the Language Classroom".
Yesterday morning it was my honour and privilege to open the World Language Conference at the International School Basel (ISB). The energy was palpable, especially as the turnout of 110 attendees greatly exceeded the originally estimated 60 delegates.

Well, it's been an incredible 3 days! I've presented 6 separate sessions for DIPS (Developing International Projects for Schools) in beautiful (and very hot!) Valencia, as well as the first online session of my new course for the Centro de Formación del Profesorado en Idiomas de Castilla y León

For my 6th and final presentation at DIPS Valencia, I talked about Spin It, Say It, Show It: Creative AI for the Classroom. This session was dedicated to exploring how generative AI can support engaging, student-centred activities that promote creativity and visual storytelling.

For my penultimate session at DIPS Valencia, I gave a short presentation as part of the first warm-up session of the day. This interactive, hands-on input was a plenary-style segment lasting around 25 minutes and was called "Once Upon an AI: Storytelling with a Twist".
