We’re so happy for our friends at Roosevelt Island parkrun in Washington who have been on pause while the federal government has been shut down. 7 weeks with no parkrun. Welcome back!

We're just 2.5 weeks from Thanksgiving parkrun. If you have family in town, bring them out for the free-est, friendliest way to kick off your Thanksgiving Day. No t-shirt, no medal, no entry fee. Come as you are and take as long as you need. Hope to see you there!

61 runners and walkers had their barcodes scanned and we didn’t lose a single finish token. Amazing effort by our volunteer team today.

Thanks to all 41 runners and walkers who joined us on Saturday. We had overcast skies and some drizzle that came out of nowhere. But that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. In fact, we were pleased by how many folks stuck around and yapped in the rain. We love to see it!

A light turnout of 29 runners and walkers joined us on Urban Bourbon half marathon morning. Thanks to everyone who came out! We had one visitor from New Zealand and 4 parkrunners walked back up the hill with new personal bests.

In a little less than a month (Oct 11) we'll be hosting our 300th free weekly 5K! We've been providing Louisville a free, regular, hassle-free way to get together and get a little exercise since April 2018. We'd love to have a huge crowd that morning so tell all friends and make plans to join us!
