Absolutely terrific article. One wonders why Philippine leaders are unable to grasp this. Author is Karl Garcia

Why the Philippines Was Never Going to Become Singapore—No Matter Who Promised It
By Karl Garcia Rodrigo Duterte was not the first Filipino leader to invoke Singapore as a model, and he will not be the last. Long before his 2016 campaign promise to “make the Philippines like Sin…

The Thai bitterness over getting stomped by the Philippine basketball team at the SEA Games has gone into full "hater" mode. Not fun to read. I suggest ignoring the Thais until they grow up. Just keep building PH bball power.

Congratulations to Filipino athletes for their fantastic competitiveness and wins in the SEA Games. Highly inspiring. The only thing holding Filipinos back is their government's lack of dedication to winning. They're too busy stealing and driving fast cars.

Rep De Lima earned her voice of authority as a woman of integrity who spent 7 years maliciously imprisoned by the father of the weirdly popular Sara Duterte. C'mon Filipinos. Prove you can think, and feel injustice. DDS are paid to make you think backward. Stop rewarding them.

I wonder how US Embassy visa processing in Manila will change. It used to be "you are a single woman under 40", instant denial. Now it's going to be, "uh, you're brown", instant denial?

America is ugly today.

An excellent brief on maritime laws in the hopper and the promise of a more modern seafaring Philippines. Valuable read for those wanting to see a first world Philippines. Author is Karl Garcia.

Philippines at Sea: How the National Maritime Council and Blue Economy Bills Can Transform Our Oceans
By Karl Garcia The Philippines is a nation defined by its waters. As an archipelagic state with thousands of islands, our seas are more than just borders—they are the backbone of our economy, the s…

It's my observation that most Christians praise Jesus but a whole lot don't listen.

The US is a murderous rogue state. Republicans lost their humanity, and their commitment to democracy. The world is paying the price for this weakness of American character.

Bato is already in jail, mentally, and just starting to pay the price for his role as Duterte's Chief Executioner. He'll be crying and whining for the rest of his life. Accountability can be merciless.

Frankly, it doesn't matter to me who you elect as President as long as that person is honest. That character trait will become government's character. It's why Aquino succeeded, not because he was a liberal or smart or worked hard.

I shake my head at Sara Duterte saying she's ready to be president. What a lack of class. If classless arrogance, corruption, incompetence, and giving the Philippines to China is what Filipino voters want, then she'll get elected. And the US will not be the only country that voted itself into hell.

Whenever I write of DDS I have to censor myself to take out all the swear words. Most people are for the Philippines, and sense, and honesty, and the values in the Constitution and Bible. Others love power and money and playing the uneducated for fools. DDS are miserable people.

Co plus 17 others seems like overkill of nonames and underkill of names. Where are the senators, the Bersamins, the Go?

FB is an invasive species that watches your every move, tracking you as if you were Jason Bourne. It is a force causing despair, depression, laughter, hissy fits, and extraction of money from your various accounts. I don't take it so seriously myself. It's like the Matrix but has way more cats.

What is INC's problem, anyway? They think Jesus was political? They have their own flock under control and now want to control others' flocks?

Yo, Philippines!!!
Takeda’s dengue vaccine has demonstrated strong protection against infection and hospitalization for seven years, marking the longest efficacy reported among any available dengue vaccines.
Takeda’s dengue vaccine shows long-lasting protection
The results bolster confidence in Takeda’s two-dose regimen, especially as countries grapple with record dengue outbreaks fueled by climate change.

LOL, Senator Cayetano wants minority representation on the ICI, as if police work needs to get screwed up by politics. The worst senators in my book are too many to list down, but he's definitely pushing for the bottom.

What a difference a change of Ombudsman makes. From enabling crime to prosecuting crime. Man, Martires was awful. We can see that clearly now.
