a scene from legion in which lieutenant kinderman grieves the death of his best friend father dyer, saying "the man was a poem." a scene from the exorcist (novel) in which father dyer and father karras drink and joke. father dyer: "she can help us with my plan for when we both quit the priesthood." father karras: "who's quitting the priesthood?" father dyer: "gays. in droves. basic black has gone out." alt text easter egg: in the original line father dyer actually says faggots, but the source i referenced for this sketch (not my copy of the novel, foolishly) had censored the word. it pisses me off to no end but no one's ever pointed out the discrepancy. a bust of damien karras in medical school, wearing a backpack and carrying a stack of books. he has not yet peeped the horrors. father dyer and father karras miming the taking of communion, but sexily.
