Like for Like Mateta.

Avançado mega potente, capaz de jogar em campo fechado e aberto e com muito remate no seu arsenal.

Já leva 4 golos pelo Cercle Brugge (que nos últimos anos vendeu só Ayase Ueda e Kevin Denkey).

🚨After a sabbatical couple of months now I’m looking for opportunities in the football industry (and others if they arise).

Currently able to do freelance video scouting, data scouting and data analysis for clubs/companies related to football either in Portugal or outside.

Haven’t had time to pull my own radars but Albert Baio has been on mind for the past few weeks.

Broke through Vitória’s 1st team this year and has been massively performing for them.

Great athleticism overall and technically gifted. Goes inside and outside easily and has nack for giving goals.

Recently fell in love with Manu Silva, from Vitória.

Started his VSC career as CB in a back 3 after coming from Feirense (2nd Division) but with the new manager he returned to his best position, DM.

Unfortunately can't post longer videos but this recovery and set up of the play is superb

Given Sporting’s problems in goal, I have once again used my rating/ranking system to check out some options.

Goalkeeping has been dire for us and if we want to have a fight for the league we will need to get another GK.

Some names are regulated for 2 seasons in a row.

Nathan Collins is very very good.

Haven’t watched the Chelsea game in full detail but every time he’s on the ball he’s breaking lines, carrying it forward, providing assists and 2nd assists, dangerous passes, etc…

And then he’s such a good dueler and overall defender.

Oniki has been probably the most impactful coach in Japan in the last 5/10 years. Even more than Ange imo.

Despite Frontale’s recent fall off, he had the most dominating and entertaining team in J1 for quite some time.

Dinamo x Celtic has been lackluster tbh.

Slow tempoed game with a massive low block from the Croatians. Baturina can’t shine like this.

CCV and Trusty have been superb dealing with Kulenovic.

João Pereira putting Quenda as one of the 10s tonight against Brugge.

Quite like this tbh. It’s where I see him being most influential. He’s got associative qualities, can play easily in tight spaces and can use his good decision making in central spaces.

João Simões also starting.

From almost going down two seasons ago to being 2x times champions in a row.

Absolutely madness but super deserved. Kobe has been the most consistent team throughout these past 2 seasons.

Solid defensively, know when to take their chances and god tier on set pieces.

First heard of Juma Bah (06') when I saw his name linked to City. Gotta say, there's so much potential there.

Bare in mind that he plays for Valladolid so there isn't much to show offensively but the traits are there.
Keeps it simple passing wise. Seems to excel carrying it forward.

Just won the game for Sunderland vs Stoke.

Impressive.
Tom Watson’s the Jack Clarke regen.

Pure chaos dribbler at 18. Impressed.

Mitoma’s my favorite Brighton player but João Pedro has a ceiling on comparable to Baleba.

Manipulation in tight spaces is outer worldly. He can have 3 defenders with him and find the space to squeeze a pass/ shot.

He can hold them off with small touches and wait for help.
December 5, 2024 at 8:00 PM
Brighton going man-to-man with most of the players and then leaving Mitoma x O’Riley to close Fulham’s CB’s passing lanes.

WB’s jumping into Fulham’s RB/LB. Risky cuz if the press is bypassed that leaves a 3x3 against Reiss Nelson, Wilson and Muniz.

Recent results from Sporting are pretty worrying and not having Pedro Gonçalves has hurt us a lot this past couple of weeks.

João Simões could be useful to solve the left half-space problem we've been having without Pedro. Similar to what he does, Simões (07') is able to pull between the press.

Generational talent. Pristine quality.

Granted it’s the Brasileirão but still, he’s bagging 22 G/A whilst being 17 years old in the title challenging Palmeiras.

Talk about dealing with pressure.

At Viborg he was one of my favorite RB’s. Wanted him as the sub for Porro at Sporting but Ajax got to him (we got the underrated/underutilized Fresneda).

His 1st season wasn’t good (awful for most players tho) but he’s hitting it this season. Still not a starter but improving.

Damsgaard revivalism is truly on course and I’m here for it.

Liked him since the Nordsjaelland days. Injuries kept him away from shining for quite sometime.

Think he’s also what Brentford need in terms of creation. Proper service to 2 of the best 9s in the PL, Wissa & Mbeumo.

Funny how Kawasaki and Marinos have been awful in the league but then turn up to the Champions League and batter everyone quite easily.

We’re talking about the best teams in their countries. Shanghai Port, Mariners, Buriram, Johor, Ulsan and Pohang, for example.

Gittens is a monstrous dribbler who’s begging to get end product.

And what’s best is that he can do it in open field (long distance) and in close range.

He’s not just a pacy guy who outruns his opponents. Got bags of tricks and is starting to take the right decisions.
