Eye eye. The Wemyss Cat sculpture trail work for Kirkcaldy continues. Kirkcaldy invented linoleum and so here we have my design, Lino the cat, with markings based on mid 20thC linoleum patterns and colours. #wemysswarepottery #cat #sculpturetrail #fife #scotland #art

Sugar skull plaques art workshop today The Paxton Centre. Some beautiful work. The Day Of The Dead in Mexico celebrates the lives of loved ones who have passed. Sugar skulls are made and decorated for altars dedicated to ancestors, with their photos and favourite foods. Happy Dia De Los Muertos x

More work on my pups portrait. Working on light and shade. Tip for painting shadows, don’t use black. Mix a complementary colour in a darker shade of that colour. As I’ve painted out of deep blue here I’ve used dark purple mixed with dark green to create a ‘black’ #oilpainting #paintingtips #dogs
