My 2026 D&D plans are to run shorter campaigns. I’ve always felt like I need to run multi year campaigns but there’s nothing wrong with a 5 session campaign

I want to explore more ideas & not feel stagnant with one singular concept

I also want to start publishing campaigns & oneshots for others

TLDR: I've had so much fun this year and hope to go onwards and upwards with 2026! There have been ups and downs but my only real thing is:

This year I've hit goals I never thought I would have! Some personal, some professsional, some that were only goals in hindsight. I've debuted FOUR models - Big Blue for both his Pirate and Space forms, the adorable Yotsuba the Bestest Dinoparrot in the Multiverse, I stole an Identity to have Emmiblue (ILY EMMI!) and last but definitely not least I have Scribblue as both a Pirate and a Wooper. I filled every emote slot - both animated and static - to the point where I don't know if I can ever add new ones I learnt to be less reliant on hardline schedules I can Karaoke Now! I'm over the fear of it too! I made my own stream background and tried arting a bunch of things (I don't think I enjoy it, but still better than AI SLOP!) We also learnt about my geography skills with an attempt to map the States... There have absolutely been times where I've acted in ways that I've improved on and times where I've had to deal with other people's issues infecting my good time. I'm learning to treat some people I thought of as friends more like streaming coworkers because it is important to have those walls and loosely boundaries set. I also know as a goal that I need to rise above the pettiness and hate around me, to make a space that is safe and familiar for my own community. I think it is ridiculous that there are so many obstacles to just being a Dinosaur Pirate on the Internet sometimes and, while it is important to put your foot down for the real shit, it is just as important to steer clear of the drama. Sharing info on Bad Actors to friends and addressing things ASAP will make things better in the long run, block and move on otherwise. But where there is darkness, there is also a lot of light. Some people I barely talked to have become big mainstays in my life and I hope that they're around for a long time. And some friends from the beginning have become so so SO close to me that I couldn't have made it this far without them. That was my main goal coming into the Vtubing medium and I'm glad it's worked out. I haven't planned anything but if I had to set myself goals then... > I want Personalised Stream Avatars - I imagine a small army of DinoParrots on the bottom of my screen to represent my chatters and lurkers > I want to carve out my own Niche more - I love my RPGs, my City Builders, Elite Dangerous and my Dino Games. Retros and Pokemon are also fun to dive into so much. I'm worried that I might stretch myself > Collabs - I like collabing *sometimes*. Despite what people might believe, I am the one that doesn't reach out. Not because I'm anti-social (I hope) or because of anxiety - but mainly because the games I enjoy are ~80% singleplayer experiences. But there's still a confidence thing there - the people I reached out for regarding my Birthday streams all got the same message and I was upfront about who I had asked for it at the same time, but I know I left it too late. Its on me for not planning effectively and then not following through promptly, not all of it can be explained away with work but it happens! > Talking to more people - Biggest and Bestest advice I got from a Bestie! If you just stay in an echo chamber and only listen to people with the same opinions as you, you will stop growing as a person. You will feel a godly awful anxiety for thinking you've stepped a foot wrong. And you will miss out on SOOOOOO many amazing people out there. So I want to push myself to more community nights in my friend's spaces, even if its just unplanned group discord watching movies with the microphones off. > Merch Things - I know Fourthwall exists. I've grabbed so many deskmats of my friend's art (I have like 10 now oops) and I have my first shirt with Doktrr Blue on it which I... may not have take off for a week. So I think I need something out there for me, whether its a silly little sticker or a bathmat or a desk jingly. Whatever I put out there, I want to keep it as low cost as I can - I'm not here for the cash. I just like things. THINGS ARE FOREVER! > Branding - I need a Spaceship and a Pirate Ship. I'm sure I'll find something silly for us to enjoy. Expect something that can transform I guess? > CUSTOM CHANNEL ALERTS ARE ON THE WAY! My Final Note for this: Thank you. Any time I was close to giving up, that I talked myself into a pit of Sad or just needed someone around, there was always someone there to pull me out of it. Whether that was directly, when I asked for meme drops because I was in a mood or just being on the big screen while I was lurking, you've helped me through the tough times of the year. And for the happy times too! There was always someone around I felt comfortable to share it with, to be there for and to improve the day.
