I left school at 16, went to night school, through my tutor I met Bob Frith, I volunteered with them for the Plaited Path Tour

years later I started a career in the arts

So now 'the man' has put traffic signs on this once forest track, that was once a main road, & is still classified as one, & looks like it will be again!

despite the high temp of 11℃ today
most of this track is in the shade & there were still patches of ice...

I had to get off at one stage & push
I also had to stop & clear the mud from my front mudguard & disc brake, the wheel was struggling to turn,
there was also a nice mud pie cooking!

My little bike doesn't have the power to plough through such deep mud,
but fun!
