I’ve been in hospital most of this week after a minor mental slip. Some times after though you need to read about fortitude. This book has helped massively. Teamwork and hope can do wonders for the soul.

Tonight's match away to Liechtenstein is so unimportant that I gave some consideration to just getting ChatGPT to write this for me. But then I realised that would be trying something new, and we don't do that in relation to the national team apparently. Friday night's 3-1 defeat at home to Iceland was almost exactly everything that could possibly go wrong with that friendly.
