I really hate that Elio opened as low as it did.
That being said, I also didn't go see it.
I feel like the lack of Pixar box office lately has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the films - I've loved every one of them - but has a huge amount to do with the abundance of kids...

I mean movies are great and all - but when was the last time you watched Beauty and the Beast. There was some magic (cocaine related probably) going on with that movie. The risks, the score, the little subtextual and narrative beats.

Networking in writing is important. Not in a bad way. I have had a very positive experience this week with a modern poet whose work was very inspiring for me and my goals of writing and teaching poetry. I'll post my idea eventually - but speaking with them has been a boost.

If the ability to be an imposing Emporer of your country was only reinforced by a workplace culture of “no one would actually do it” then I think 1. That’s a broken system and 2. Theres no way this is the first time meaning 3. It’s always been a broken system.

While GGG continues to fuck up it's vision of what a successful ARPG should be - Eleventh Hour Games is making sure that you don't feel required to have certain abilities - making quality of life changes to certain buff skills - and completely reworking a class.
