Could be. They used IBM gear to organize things in the '30s. They've got much more sophisticated computing and communication infrastructure now.

The Nazis took a while to dismantle Weimar gov't institutions. They came to power in 1932. Things jumped off in a big way in 1938. It slowly got worse, not all at once.
