For a plastic pitch the ball isn’t half bobbling about. The cut up pitch at Pittodrie was smoother than this.

I do sometimes think the one strong element of Aberderdonian culture isn’t Doric, butteries, granite, or fish, but complete and utter opposition to any sort of change to the city.

I do sometimes think the one strong element of Aberderdonian culture isn’t Doric, butteries, granite, or fish, but complete and utter opposition to any sort of change to the city.
I think people are overestimating the appeal of Andy Burnham. His principles are based on what he thinks the electorate want, his attempts at leadership show he’s happy to go wherever he thinks that is, and seems to believe that whatever the North-West of England think, the rest of the UK must too.

For all this talk about Hip Hop being dead it’s one of the only genres producing and decent music at the moment.

Harry Styles continuing his surprising solo career of actually releasing half decent stuff. Not really my kind of music but for someone I dismissed harshly he’s actually producing songs worth listening to.

Mashed neep and tattie on the same plate has always bothered me so made neep rosti instead, and whisky sauce is a bit bland for me so did a Brie and courgette cream reduction instead.
