First half or so was a fascinating account of education just before printed books made their mark - particularly given speculation we may be entering a post-literate age. Later on covers more familiar territory of the King's "great matter" and More's preparations for death.

idk, perhaps older people also like living in a fantastic city where their friends, their family and their entire lives are? Turning 60 or whatever random benchmark of "older" you pick doesn't suddenly make you yearn to live in some godforsaken village in the arse end of nowhere.
I'm surprised at older people not moving out of London. Have you seen what you can buy in the better parts of England for the price of a crummy London flat?
