I just finished playing through Lorelei and the Laser Eyes by @simogo.com. It is such a wonderfully unique game. The atmosphere and story telling is extremely well done. The puzzles range from good to great. I do wish logging into the computer gave feedback on which part you had wrong.

With my engine I use Sol3 but then write all of my scripts in TypeScript. I then use TypeScriptToLua to transpile them to Lua scripts. It was more work than I'd like to admit but now that it is setup it is very nice.

Would you use C++ again or try one of the newer languages?

I switched over my 5yo engine to SDL3 last month and some of the changes have been great! I'm not using the new rendering API but am using the latest for the gamepad support.

I was thinking about that. I looked on craigslist in my area but not sure how else to find local players. I'll check out some local stores. Thanks!

All the time! I usually am walking at about 2.5mph which is a pace that allows for accurate typing. My mouse accuracy does go down but since I'm coding most of the time I'm working that doesn't affect me too much.

Working from home makes it so easy to not get any exercise. A few months ago I got a walkingpad - it has been life changing as an #indiedev! At first I was doing a few miles a day but now I'm walking 12+ miles a day. It feels amazing! I've lost 10+lbs and have killer legs now too. Huge recommend!
