Glad to have you back Jon Stewart. Tired of the haters reducing your viewpoint as "both-siderism." That's 2024 speak for, "moderates don't take a stance on anything."

Do we think f1 drivers take defensive driving courses to lower their insurance premiums?

Wouldn't it be cool if Google maps adjusted the times it takes to walk distances based on the average walking speed of a city? i.e. it's faster to walk 2mi in NYC than, say, Philly

I was playing really really loud dance music last night and my downstairs neighbors didn't say a peep. Then today, they invite over their grandkids who are currently running around, screaming at the top of their lungs and dragging toy trucks across the floor.

We are perfect for each other 🤝

Reading "The In-Between" by Hadley Vlahos RN. It would make a for a great TV show. Every episode is a new hospice patient. The season long plot is about Hadley developing a love for her work, dealing with the trauma that comes with it, and navigating her relationship with Chris.

That scene in New Am where Dr. Wilder convinces an MLB pitcher to amputate his arm by saying that he won't be less human post-op, but actually moreso hits hard. Sometimes we want our lives to be special, to be poetic, to be the best, but there is nothing more human than our imperfections.

So interesting to see these stickers from the pandemic. They're so normal to us now, but they didn't exist in Feb 2020

Just found out I saved over $1000 in three years by completing a driving safety course that costs $33. Nice.

I've finally lived in the same NYC apartment for long enough to randomly run into a neighbor I know just about every time I leave the house. It's an amazing feeling!

I'm always impressed when I see artists who are capable of finishing their creations. Even if it's totally garbage, the ability to see something through to the end is, in my opinion, one of the hardest parts about being an artist. To declare something finished.

@bsky.app is there a reason people I follow still show up in discover? Would hope to use that space to see people I wouldn't otherwise. And some of my most frequently posting followers are flooding my "following" page. Is there a way to limit that so it's not all that I see?

Depression is a bitch. In the morning I might feel great, energized even, but come night-time my self-esteem is shot, future looks bleak, and I don't have much to look forward to. Took some magnesium and fell asleep at 9:30pm simply because I couldn't deal with it.

New Amsterdam really has an episode about a patient that is dying from heart complications because of the stress from being a New York Knicks fan. Can this show get any better? #howcanihelp
