Hi new followers, I’m a cartoonist based in Vancouver, BC. Drawn comics small-press and pro, spent time in animation and taught comic fundamentals, too. Mostly drawing stories of a satirical nature or true to life these days. Also an easy mark for almost any footage of baby elephants. Welcome!
I have also sculpted the Gillman's fierce aquatic countenance with brush many times (and in scratchboard), so great props today to Ms. Patrick!
Remembering the creator behind my favorite Universal Monster design, MILLICENT PATRICK, on her birthday. I never tire to draw this guy so a huge Thank you for adding the Creature From The Black Lagoon to the horror pantheon, Millicent! 💚💚💚

Final passages of Sigfried Sassoon's “Repression of War Experience”, which I adapted for the 'Above The Dreamless Dead' anthology. The guns are still firing, whether we choose to look or not.
In honour of the fallen everywhere, uniform or not, and regardless of place or face.

Today’s commission: Drew requested a portrait of Kirby at the desk when he visited my table at the PNE in October. This one I could get behind. In honour of the King. #sketchcover #traditionalart #kirbycave

Today’s commission: This was a fun one. After seeing some art I made for a pal, Joe Bob Brigg’s producer contacted me about creating a piece featuring the famed late night “Drive In” host in the style of a MAD cover for their offices. Watercolour and speedball pen. Apologies to Davis.

A neighbour sent a pic of their little one enjoying the candies offered by the repurposed sign I set up in the lobby on Friday. In the video he chirps: "Thank you skeleton!"

I repurposed my sign from last weekend’s Comic & Toy Show for our apartment lobby. Thanks to Theresa and Nova at Rath Art Supplies for providing the lumber, cutting, and paints to make this happen! Happy Halloween to my neighbours at Pine Court and across all lands!

“Borderlands”; a recent commission drawn for my friend Abby, who’s been very supportive at recent shows. This was a fun one. I don’t normally do any kind of gun stuff, but with a beer bottle gun scope, I’ll let it go. Watercolour on hot press. Thanks again for supporting your local doodler, Abby!

Used to be standing marching orders to kick out a scratchboard piece 'round this time of year, but time frames in the past weeks didn't allow it. Still, I like sharing this one. "He Give Out Special Crisps". Created for the late Ayden Gallery's Robots And Monsters show. #scratchboard #hallowseve

Oh, ‘zine girl, none of us will ever be enough for THE COLLECTOR!
Sketch request made by Evan Christiansen, organizer of this weekend’s Vancouver Comic & Toy show. He & Alison are always great hosts and I appreciate them letting me in on the action once more. Good show!
