I mean, I guess it’s better than Jeff Kent, Scott Rolen, and Todd Helton; but there’s zero chance I’m packing up the family, flying them to Albany, and then driving an hour and a half to Cooperstown for any of this.

Thing that young Hurricanes fans should know is that when all of us old guys talk about the powerhouse teams from 30 to 40 years ago, we don’t bring up all the heartbreaking losses. There were numerous gutwrenching losses. It’s all part of it. It’s what makes the wins so much sweeter.

Bain to the Jets is gonna sting a little. He'll be so good, they'll probably get two 1sts for him when they trade him to a team like Dallas in 2029.

This season, Miami beat Notre Dame, Florida, FSU, Ohio State; and were driving to win the National Championship. I’d say that’s a pretty good season.

As we speak, I’m currently much more upset about the loss to Penn State in the Jan ‘87 Fiesta Bowl than I am about tonight’s loss. It’s a tough one, but not nightmare-worthy.
