The spectacle of sad, middle-aged tech cheerleaders trying to recapture relevance by pretending they’ve always been against the excesses of Silicon Valley.

Whaaaaatever.

No, seriously, he was Epstein’s best friend. BEST FRIEND!

He’s all over the files. What are we waiting for?

Canada doesn’t care, btw.

Call us when you stop murdering your citizens.

Please enjoy this conversation I had with Conservation Biologist Carolyn Callaghan, about wolves and other Canadian wildlife.

Her confidence around the staying-power of North America’s wolf population is a balm on the soul at a very dark time.

I’m old enough to remember the EFF arguing in favour of Napster. You know… the “innovation” that destroyed the market for physical media and brought us all right here.
January 23, 2026 at 1:27 AM
I’m not anti-tech, I’m anti-theft. If the future of “innovation” depends on stealing creators’ work without asking or paying, that’s not progress - it's stealing, and we shouldn’t accept it. #StealingIsntInnovation

If you're in Switzerland, right now might be a good time to go get one of those great coffees they have. There is absolutely nothing important going on at the moment.

After months of trying to play nice with Donald Trump and MAGA world, Mark Carney decided to drop the hammer of truth on his rogue administration, @maxfawcett.bsky.social writes. What comes next will help determine Canada's place in the world — and whether it even has one.
Mark Carney just shook up the world
His speech in Davos might be the most important one ever delivered by a Canadian prime minister. Its consequences will determine his place in history — and ours.

That’s actually a normal-sized coat. The problem is the size of his soul.
Greg Bovino was seen earlier today at the Minneapolis ICE facility dressed in a very nazi-inspired outfit. They don’t even hide anymore.

It’s time for Canada to ghost our bad friend.

Just stop answering the phone when we see their number.

If asked about it by others, we just say “Oh, they have a lot going on right now. We’re just giving then space. Did they call? Didn’t notice.”

And send one of our icebreakers to Greenland.

If they are so confident the evidence will show their killer was just defending himself, why are they shielding him from an investigation?

There is no way they get away with this murder. This has to be the end of immunity.

I predict the office of small boys wanting to feel like big men will now expect Kristi Noem to take all the heat for today.

And, she 100% deserves heat, so it’s an easy call.

What a shit pit of a government.

Took my Very Long Drive (TM) into Northern Ontario today. Listened to live coverage of Minneapolis on satellite. Just now watched the video.

Any other administration, you’d expect gravitas, appeals for calm, and resignations.

Never been happier for that border. Might be time to reinforce it.

In total agreement with Lloyd Axworthy here. It's been proven again and again the current US President does not respect careful diplomacy. By not criticizing the attack on Venezuela, Canada has isolated Mexico, and we need that relationship more than ever now.
