2 of the innumerable fallacies being told:

Removing income tax from Social Security = tax break for upper income. Low income retirees don't pay income tax once deductions are taken into account.

Money is not pouring in from other countries from tariffs. Tariffs are paid for by the consumer.

Don't forget that tariffs are a sales tax on the American people.

Maybe if America didn't spend billions on incarcerating and deporting immigrants, and more billions on killing poor peasants in South America, it could afford to feed its own starving population and help Americans afford to be able to go to a doctor.

Looks like all the means of collecting revenue - taxes, tariffs, fees, etc. - remain in place while the government continues to cut programs, lay people off, eliminate departments, etc. In short, government spending has decreased hugely while government income has increased. Where's the money?

Republicans are talking more and more about replacing Obamacare with... nothing! They feel the best way to pay for health care is to let consumers pay for it themselves with no government subsidies. Now that is enlightened thinking that puts Americans first in this new golden age.

Of course, he won't negotiate with Democrats. The truth is, he doesn't know how to negotiate. He only knows how to bully. And when he doesn't get his way with bullying, he tries to change the rules. Then he blames everyone but himself for failing to negotiate. Rinse, repeat, ad nauseum. Had enough?

The Republicans have a great health care plan. Starve people and make health insurance so expensive that only the wealthy can afford it.
October 31, 2025 at 4:12 PM
With their approval ratings steadily dropping, how can Republicans be so sure that all these new gerrymandered districts will vote Republican as well?

If it wasn't for all of the chaos he created with his stupid ideas in the first place, there wouldn't be a need to try and fix said chaos now would there?

He's a trickster, a master mezmerizer, and the furthest from being a master negotiatior. Throw the bum out. Please.

Killing people without a declaration of war, without a trial, without providing any evidence whatsoever is murder regardless of what they are allegedly carrying on their boat. All of you Republinazis are complicit for just sitting on your hands and enabling these murders to continue.

The real reason politicians are afraid of Socialism is that it would take their power away. The only way things are going to effectively change is when wealth becomes a liability rather than an asset.

The Stock Market is the shining example of the fantasy world the wealthy live in. While the economy begins to stall and the poor and marginalized fall through the cracks, the markets set new records.

Comeuppance is upon us. The upcoming crash will make recent economic downturns look like picnics.

Curious that the orange ass wants the DOJ to give him exactly what it will cost to destroy the White House and build his guilded ballroom. In other words, we're all supposed to pay this.

Reading the news, one gets the opinion that conservative ideologies are more about hurting people, whereas liberal ideologies are more about helping people.

What is it that the conservatives are conserving? And what is it the liberals are tossing about?

The only answer I come up with is empathy.
October 21, 2025 at 7:23 PM
The numbers were awesome; the energy is great, but, Democrats, there is a fatal flaw in your strategy.

Being against someone, or something, does NOT win elections. As in 2024?

It's not enough to march against something. It's time to march FOR something. Time to roll out that progressive agenda.

As of August, the value of the US dollar has fallen 11% against other currencies. That's an 11% tariff on everything foreign, isn't it? And then there's fat man's tariffs. How can inflation possibly be under 3% as we're being told? The only thing that is falling is oil. Makes you wonder 🤔.

It should be pretty obvious by now that Republicans don't plan on having any more elections. Otherwise they would be trying to win favor with their constituents. On the contrary, Republicans seem to be doing their best to irritate, alienate, and even hurt those they are supposed to represent.

Nobel Peace Prize nominee and a few headlines from AP today:

Federal Court to weigh fat man's deployment of National Guard to Chicago.

AOC is right. We just have to laugh at their attempts to compensate for their insecure masculinity. And this starts at the top for the fat man is the most insecure of all.
