I've watched the first two episodes of Starfleet Academy. It is nothing like I expected but in a very good way. Great characters, acting, writing, and direction.

Political violence should stop. Dehumanizing those with other views should stop. Civil discourse rather than provocation is needed.

Ice raids have handcuffed and detained legal American born citizens because of their race and language and color. That behavior is un-American.

Ranked choice voting causes candidates to have to appeal to groups other than their own in order to win. This should lead to moderation of views and less extremists.

I remember, as a young child, visiting people inside iron lungs in the polio ward in the hospital. Vaccines are safe and effective, I don't want to return to the world the way it was before them.

An unarmed civilian was murdered by a masked government agent on Jan 7, 2026. Other citizens recorded the encounter with cameras to let everyone know. This is a dark time in our history.
