I honestly try my best with new doctor who and I've enjoyed the newest series on the whole, but relegating mrs flood's reveal, set up nearly two seasons ago, to a crappy mid credits scene with last-minute cgi, stunted writing and weird directing choices is a massive waste imo. Thoroughly whelmed!

I'm very happy that The Culture is getting an adaptation. However, I think going with Consider Phlebas might be a mistake. I much prefer Player of Games. It's a better explainer on what the culture is and imho a more well constructed story.
