My wife and I are adoptive parents to 3 kids with extra needs. They’re precious gifts from God, but they come with challenges, including behavioural ones. One thing we’ve learned is the importance of ‘connection before correction’. I’m convinced that’s how Jesus works too - he comes alongside.
