The Moon eclipsed by our Pecan tree. Some strong winds out on the Panhandle and South Plains raised quite a bit of dust late this afternoon giving the Moon quite a bit more "sky glow" that normal.

Had to say goodbye to 3 friends this year.
Patty was 17; her kidneys were failing
Horatio was 14; He just slowed down and died this Fall.
Oliver was almost 14; An enlarged heart was becoming very uncomfortable. He may have had a small stroke recently as well.
They were loved deeply!

Fluffy is at the vet awaiting surgery Tues morning. Found that he has an at least 7mm stone in his bladder. Talking with the vet, we figured that taking it out surgically was better than some of the alternatives.

So thought it was a 'shot in the dark' as I didn't really think the book would be on the shelf. To my surprise it was there and further there was someone else who grabbed her copy right ahead of me. Thanks to B&N; especially here in deep RED texas.

Woke this morning to find that Horatio had died sometime early this morning. He was fourteen and had been relatively healthy, but wasn't feeling well starting a couple of weeks ago, then went downhill real fast these past few days.
