@mrjamesob.bsky.social I have a colleague who married recently, and both he and his wife changed their surnames to a completely different one. Totally unrelated to their initial surnames. It seemed a really great idea to me. And I’m a 53 year old man.

I read @theguardian.com. I like it. I think it is the most balanced newspaper in the country, albeit with a centre left editorial slant. And I hate it when the term “Metropolitan Elite” gets thrown at Guardian readers. Because it just isn’t true…
