Rauðisandur

Rauðisandur in the Westfjords – one of the few golden sand beaches in Iceland. Worth knowing: you only see the red sand at low tide. At high tide it’s basically just sea water. 🌊🟡

This morning started off with thick fog which looked like it would thin and clear by late morning. This was just downstream of Barnard Castle, Teesdale, County Durham, UK as it began to burn off.

Earlier this week storm hit the Dutch coastlines. This was a shot of the Oranjemolen that stands right next to the coast in Vlissingen. During storms like this you get this unreal scene that looks like a painting. I got soaking wet, but it was worth it!
