My first few days in Eugene have been a whirlwind. I'm anxious to be settled and to see my little furball.

On the way home from helping declutter my parents'house, which is a full blown trip down memory lane. Here I share two Trapper Keepers. People of a certain age will understand!

The day after my last day with The Herald-Times, a tornado ripped up a post office, motel and many trees and homes. Normally I would be helping cover this natural disaster. Feels strange to only read about it.

Three more days as editor of The Herald-Times. It's a surreal soup made hearty by lots of asks from people left to fill the gap, peppered with moving anxiety and sprinkled with having no place to live, finished with a slick of nervous energy to get to work.
