ICYMI Barbados govnt announced in yesterday's Budget that they will introduce a 20% tax on high salt snacks (Pringles, Lays etc) starting in June 2025. To be reviewed in 2 years time.

*1/4 of places to buy food are fast-food outlets, with more in more deprived areas
*healthier foods are more expensive calorie-for-calorie than less healthy food, with the gap widening recently
