Appreciate @uwchancellor.bsky.social traveling to Milwaukee to learn more about the Wisconsin Opioid Overdose Response Center at the @uwmadpharmacy.bsky.social and the work being done through this one of a kind center focused on the role of the community pharmacy in addressing the opioid epidemic.
In Milwaukee today with @uwmadpharmacy.bsky.social & Hayat Pharmacy, learning more about a @uwmadison.bsky.social initiative that equips pharmacies with tools to prevent opioid overdoses — like test strips, naloxone & more. Truly LIFESAVING work!

Strong endorse!! Loved the speakers’ candor about when #ImpSci trials go off the rails (which they do and they will) and how to get them back on track (and how to prevent that by piloting more than you think and having contingency plans and trial modification rules up front)
#discience24 #academyhealth @accordsresearch.bsky.social THOROUGHLY enjoying my fav session in 10+ years of attending: Rescuing impl trials that have gone off the rails! #impsci researchers feel seen :) - thx @sjlandes.bsky.social Geoff Curran JD Smith Alison Hamilton (also come to BSky y’all)
