As @therealkrystlfox.bsky.social takes questions, I share my drawing practice of #Krystal and #Fox in bed, ready for snuggling together - with a mandatory #Jamie who might be sandwiched between the two. Also, happy late Thanksgiving to Liberia (in West Africa), hence the use of the word "thankful".

Following his spooky Thomas parody, #Jamie realizes that the Tank Engine himself, being a locomotive, has a larger carbon footprint than Diesel. He also wonders if his tradition of burning effigies (e.g. one representing AI slop) every fifth of November is also problematic. 🧐

Jamie has his laptop open while thinking about what kind of questions to ask and whether they might work or not. Examples include asking if adult Chao can be controlled with food (e.g. large chilli dogs) and entertainment (e.g. horror parodies of Thomas the Tank Engine not intended for children, as it is the Halloween season), what if a Wave Chao becomes a thing, or why Jet has a "funny voice". Krystal can read these thoughts even before Jamie can jot them down.

According to #Krystal, #Jamie can't just rely on throwing copper coins into rivers to make his wishes come true, he has to remember it's on him to fulfil them, i.e. when it comes to coming up with the best questions of his own for any Sonic Takeover event coming soon.

At night, Krystal tells Jamie that if he wants to come up with an excellent and very intriguing question to ask anyone in the next Sonic Q&A (which might feature the Babylon Rogues because of their prominent role in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds(TM), which this Q&A will most likely promote), then he can't just use the ancient Indian custom of throwing copper coins into rivers (related to the Hindu deity Lakshmi, prominent in Deepavali/Diwali, which starts on Monday the 20th of October in 2025), he also has to work on that wish coming true himself. Jamie replies to this by saying "Yes, Krystal" in Hindi, which Krystal doesn't really speak, but, as a telepath, she still knows he's mentally giving this affirming answer.

I thought this would be a great way to mark #World_Mental_Health_Day - this depiction of #Krystal telling #Jamie that some thoughts... Are just thoughts; that thoughts don't automatically mean reality.

Krystal kneeling down to tell Jamie that anyone's idea of him being "not enough" (e.g. not being productive/motivated/strong enough) or "too much" (e.g. being too eager for attention and validation, endless people-pleasing etc.), as well as the validation of looking back on the past and focusing on the negatives of it, overthinking (e.g. people's unpredictability and the paranoia of seeing unwanted content - AI slop, both online and offline, for example) and self-doubt is a lie (indicated by the Pinocchio-like demon in the bottom corner), and that even though life is a rocky road that needs to be approached with balance, it is a valid observation that Jamie is bright and definitely capable of being mentally/emotionally stronger, as well as the fact that he IS enough and that the present moment (a.k.a. the "NOW") should be viewed in through a brighter perspective.

Jamie practicing Wu Wei (effortless action or inaction), an ancient Chinese concept of letting things come naturally, while holding out his empty hands to convince a member of the Saurian cave lion-like tribe that he is a source of good just like Krystal, whose interested and appreciative face we get a glimpse of. The Chinese writing says "Inaction Cave Lion". Jamie having fun climbing and then snuggling the back of a gentle Hightop. Fox watches with mixed feelings, but Krystal steps closer with a trusting, encouraging and gentle smile on her face. There is also a text in Mandarin (using Traditional characters) that says "Does the Hightop like that little Heiho's behaviour?") Jamie uses enough bravery to step close to a rhino-like creature (a member of another mammalian tribe on Sauria), but hopes it's safe enough to tap them where he is, or even to stand there. At a short distance, Krystal and Fox watch by as the Heiho makes his move, and there is text above that says "Krazoa* spirits, do I have the right?". * 活力精 (huo2 li4 jing1) (literally "vitality spirit") is a literal translation for the term "Krazoa Spirit" in Mandarin.

#Jamie 's getting closer to the age of 30... He finds like he's becoming solidly adult, with that inner late teenager or young adult becoming all but a mirage that can never be edited, just like his inner child, especially in today's world.
