Playing #Multi with #TrinityLearns 5th grader. We “thought out loud” as we played so others could learn. He taught me a new rule and ended the game in a tie. Phew! Playing to learn, practice, and strategize.

Our parents responded well and have asked for more sessions. Sometimes they ask for a specific topic: multiplication, fractions, etc. I’ve done 3 sessions this fall with 2 more planned for the winter.

In early years, we are also working on learning to write sentences: statements, questions, exclamations, and commands. The dot represents a period, as well as part of a question mark, and an exclamation point.

Writing Tip:
The quality of your first draft does not represent the quality of the finished product. Far from it. Most first drafts are an incomprehensible mess. Quality shines in editing. Even a poorly-written draft can be polished into a diamond over time.
