Absolutely exhausted by this. I get how the excitement of being newly out leads to wanting to get out more and "make up for lost time," and people are coming into the scene without experience in some aspects, but they surely must have learned about consent and 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 growing up?
I understand suddenly finding a social space where you feel accepted and needing that socialization to not die. Like I really get that. But you need to finish your antibiotics before you go back to the club

It's been months since @dractivisionary.bsky.social pointed out to me that Tiger — my wife's cat who was found as a stray in NYC over 25 years ago — could technically have been there on 9/11, and I still don't know what to do with this information
