I have spent my Thanksgiving break taking care of my son, who had hand surgery, writing 3 papers, and reading 3 long ass chapters on counseling theory for individual and group. I need another week off!

For the last 4 years, I have gotten a flu and covid shot. I forget that the lymph node under the shot arm gets swollen. No big deal, protecting myself, my elderly mum & disabled son.

Bragging time. My daughter was contacted by one of her professors asking if he could use one of her papers as an example for his other classes. So proud of her! My girl wrote at a 12th grade level in 7th grade. I have her proof my papers for grad school. What a brilliant woman she has become!

Gus decided that getting skunked once wasn't enough. He had to do it again. There's nothing like bathing your dog at 5am. To top that off, he is pissed at me over the bath. I need coffee and a long nap this afternoon.
