Just got my new 8BitDo Ultimate 2 controller in today for my Steam Deck OLED and not gonna lie, I felt a bit giddy when I felt the vibration in it. Never had that with my 2.4G model so this is already a lot better to me than that one. 🙂

Now that I'm back on the #va train and working mostly regular hours at my FT job after two years, I'm blessed to have hopped back on the VA train and scored a job narrating a children's #audiobook. It's better than I expected it so my 2025 goals will reflect on focusing on doing those and more. 😁

After loads of time passed without auditioning, I finally had the time to do it and already done a few. Audacity then glitches on me and then I found Tenacity, which is hilarious considering it's almost exactly like Audacity but does the job for a Linux user like me. 🙂

The rumored controller for the Steam Deck. This is exactly what I wanted the layout to be and hopefully it's as comfy for me to hold like the Wii U gamepad was since it looks a bit bulky. Just hope it has rumble and rechargeable battery.

Finally beat Catherine Classic on Steam. I don't know what drove me to buy it for the PS3 when it released all those years ago but puzzle games are still no fun for me 😂.

Take this with a pinch of salt as you always do with leaks, but it appears Valve may be prepping a Steam Controller 2, along with a new controller for their Deckard VR kit as well.

As much as I love my FT job and working a lot of OT that takes up a lot of my free time, a part of me does miss doing time in my booth and just auditioning to my heart's content, especially since my stutter has gotten a little bit worse with time. I hope to make it back in due time to improve that 💪

After a week of dog sitting my mother's pug puppy and having to be distracted by her hyperactivity and constantly cleaning after her, I'm glad to have my old couch buddy back 😁.
