As the VP of Texas Stonewall and President of Stonewall Austin I'm often invited to attend LGBTQIA+ events. Yesterday we honored those killed by a world that is often cruel and uncaring. We remember trans friends and family so we can fix the world into one where they might still be with us.

We held an amazing forum at Stonewall last night. A big thanks to Skyler Korgel for organizing and moderating, and congratulations to all of the endorsed candidates! The queer community will show support for those who do the same for us.

Visited the folks from Blue Action North Austin yesterday. We talked about recent victories in NJ, VA, NY, GA, and even TX. How Taylor Rehmet has a real shot in Tarrant County. How fighting back against the current political trends can get you wins. I can get those wins in Travis County.

It's official! I've filed for a place on the ballot for Travis County Democratic Party Chair! This isn't the first time; Texas Democratic Party LGBTQ Caucus, Precinct Chair, SDEC. I've had six years to dig in and learn what's wrong with the party. I have the experience to make it better.

Great energy from University Dems! Seeing young people want to get active like this makes me proud to be a mentor. Promising to uplift young people into places of power and Leadership should be more than lip service. If this is our future, then it's looking bright indeed!

It was heartening to hear neighbors talking about the issues that matter most and discussing the candidates ready to address them. Lake Travis Dems packed the house with folks who got to consider insights from the Texas Politics Project and hear from four state candidates!
