If you’ve been secretly daydreaming about quitting your 9–5…

Here’s the truth:
You don’t need a perfect business idea.
You need a meaningful problem to solve.

Everything else can be figured out from there.
July 16, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Feeling foggy about your brand?

Start with these three questions:

Who are you actually excited to help?

What are they struggling with that you understand?

Why does it matter to you?

That’s your foundation.
July 15, 2025 at 5:03 PM
The biggest mistake I see new brands make?

They build the brand before they understand the problem.

You can have a gorgeous website and zero sales.
Start with the pain not the colors.
July 14, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Still waiting to feel "ready" to start your business?

You don’t need to be an expert.
You need a problem you care about and people who need your help.

Clarity doesn’t come from overthinking.
It comes from doing.

Start where you are.
July 13, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Thinking about starting your own brand?

Here’s the truth no one talks about:
Being passionate isn’t enough.

You need to be solving something that matters to someone.
The businesses that last? They help people.

Everything else is just packaging.
July 12, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Before you build your brand, validate your idea.

Ask:

Who do I actually want to serve?

What are they already trying to solve?

Is my offer the simplest solution?

Branding is expensive. Clarity is free.
Start there.

Hot take: branding isn’t about being pretty. It’s about being clear.

If your audience doesn’t know what you do in 10 seconds or less, you don’t have a brand.
You have a Pinterest board with a mission statement.

Let’s change that.
July 10, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Your brand doesn’t start with a logo. It starts with a problem.

Ask yourself:

What is the exact moment of frustration my client is feeling when they find me?

What are they Googling or asking Chat GPT at 2am?

Clarity here will save you months of spinning in graphic design.

Struggling with sales despite promoting your offer? Before tweaking your message again, consider if your offer targets a specific problem. A well-defined offer addresses a distinct pain point. Without clarity, it's just noise. Ask yourself: When does your audience think, "I need help"?
July 8, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Thinking about starting your own business?

Please don’t start with the logo.

Start with this: What’s a problem you’re obsessed with solving?

If you skip that and head straight to design, you might end up with a pretty brand that no one buys from.

Clarity comes first. Design comes after.

If you’re stuck on what to post today, try one of these:

What do I wish someone had told me when I was struggling with [X]?

What belief do I want to help someone shift today?

What decision is my ideal client stuck on—and how can I help them find clarity?

📌 Save this. Use it. Repeat it.

You’re not bad at marketing; you’re just using someone else’s voice and methods. When your message aligns with your mission, marketing becomes effortless. ✨ Voice over volume. ✨ Alignment over algorithms. ✨ Consistency over clever hacks. Start there.
July 4, 2025 at 5:19 PM
You don’t need a high-gloss brand shoot or a hundred hashtags.

You need a message that makes someone stop scrolling and say:
“Wait. That’s me.”

That moment of resonance is more powerful than any funnel.

Be real. Be generous. Be visible.
July 3, 2025 at 5:19 PM
You dislike typical marketing because it misaligns with your service approach. You don't need to be overly salesy; just be genuine. ✨ Soulful marketing and ethical visibility are achievable. ✨ Integrity-driven strategies can bring results.
July 2, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Is the pain you’re solving greater than your fear of being seen?

If you’re a purpose-driven entrepreneur, I already know the answer.

You didn’t start your business to stay invisible.
You started because you knew someone was hurting,
and you could help.

Let that truth be louder than your fear.

Starting online means no one's watching initially. The algorithm doesn't favor your first attempts, and your audience is unaware of you. Use this time to experiment, find your voice, and practice without fear of judgment. Don't worry about perfection; clarity comes with consistency.

When someone says “I hate marketing,” they often mean “I hate selling that feels inauthentic.” Let's redefine marketing as making it easier for the right people to find the right solution. If your work is driven by purpose and service, marketing reflects your values, not betrays them.

Visibility and sharing knowledge can change lives. Ada Lovelace, Hedy Lamarr, and Dr. Ann Tsukamoto made their discoveries known, leading to computers, Wi-Fi, and life-saving research. Your story matters too. Share it.

A lot of people say:
“I don’t want to be seen.”

But what they’re really saying is:
“I’m scared of what visibility might cost me.”

Here’s the reframe:
Visibility doesn’t cost you, it multiplies your impact.

The more people who know you exist, the more people you can help.
June 27, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Many say, “I don’t want to be seen,” but they fear what visibility might cost them. Reframe it: Visibility amplifies your impact. The more people know you, the more you can help. The fear is valid, but your work surpasses it. ✨ Visibility is generosity.

This conversation with Deborah A was so incredibly beautiful. There were so many "ah-ha" moments and a lot of personal reflection for me in this interview. The message of making sure you love yourself first deeply resonated with me.

The data doesn't lie. More VC's need to be investing in women startups. Not for "diversity" purposes, but because the data says there is a dramatically higher RIO from women startups.

One of the biggest mental blocks I've had to overcome, and that I've observed in other women, is advocating for ourselves and allowing ourselves to be seen and/or heard.

Newsflash: Women are still experiencing sexism in the workplace today. No, it hasn't died. I would actually argue it's getting worse. Especially in non-corporate roles. If you're not actively fighting against it, you're contributing to it.
