This guy on GovDeals has been trying to sell this bicycle for like a year and just refuses to lower his reserve. Probably a cop that gets to charge the city for relisting it over and over.

There are so many retrogaming handhelds, but some of them are just better at emulating certain systems. Name a video game handheld that you prefer to use for a particular console

The Anbernic RG Arc is basically perfect for Sega Genesis/CD/32x, and okay for Saturn.

This comment from Espruino on Web Bluetooth is 😘

Web Bluetooth has been avail. on billions of devices, for several years, and I can't seem to find any instances of abuse. In the mean time I've lost count of the times hardware I've purchased has required me to install a dubious app to make it work.

There's a certain feeling of dread when you're learning something new and the book or video uses a funky old logo for some technology you've never heard of but which is presented as something well known with a storied history. I don't get it as much these days but it jump scares me from time to time

Been saying this for a while but the really exciting stuff on the web right now is all about how things we used to need JS for can now be done with pure CSS.

There are a lot of opportunities to cut out client side bloat.

This has been a long time coming. Super proud of the team - we completely rewrote Deno Deploy in the last year. It's better in every single way than the original.

Not to toot our own horn, but I think it's the best place to deploy your Deno/Node.js apps (and frameworks!)

Try it at deno.com/deploy!
Deno Deploy gets new features as it gains GA status.
⭐ Runs any node.js app or framework
⭐ Tunnels
⭐ Postgres databases
⭐ Built-in traces, logs, metrics

As many YouTubers as there are reviewing retro handhelds from Anbernic, Retroid, Ayaneo, Miyoo, Powkiddy, TrimUI etc you'd think that at least one of them would regularly tear them down and show us whether or not they can be repaired.

No idea how people do that thing of live-streaming coding something, if I tried that within a few minutes the entire chat would be all-caps screaming about my terrible typing, minimal use of keyboard shortcuts, and endless stream of errors & googling, it’d be unbearable for everyone involved
