RAM is an absolute classic that I similarly did not appreciate at first, but knowing that it came out 1/3 of my life ago is causing me psychic damage.
so 11 years ago random access memories came out and i was a big hater bc it felt so self-indulgent and navel-gazing i couldnt listen to it beyond the singles
revisiting now and it does hold up as a capstone to a career, i think i am just resistant to when bands take themselves insanely seriously
