Got this photo just as the eagle was returning from an unsuccessful flight looking for fish in the ocean waves below. It was using this huge seastack as a landing spot to take breaks.

The coast was SOOO windy today and yesterday. I came to check out the beach since we are in King Tide season and I went wave hunting. This was at Cape Kiwanda, WA.

Close up with a Great Blue Heron! While I was photographing it was absolutely feasting on fish. I must have watched it catch and eat two dozen fish at least within 10 minutes!

Happy Halloween! Here is a photo I took during my visit to Ruby Beach last week. The tide and waves were the highest I've ever seen at this spot and were large enough waves to be seriously dangerous. Howling winds, crashing waves, eerie sea stacks. I'd say thats pretty spooky!
