Saw Song Sung Blue. It had some really good performances and heartfelt moments (when did King Princess start acting?). I’m not sure if it was meant to be inspirational but I honestly came away kind of sad and depressed. Life is tough sometimes.

Saw the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s very inventive Kiwiana rendition of The Nutcracker! Includes a summer Christmas at the bach; dancers dressed as chocolate fish, hokey pokey ice cream, lolly slices, pavlova, native flowers and birds; and a rat king that leads weasels, stoats and possums. Beautiful!
