I have a new fiancée and with her came two more cats into my life (we now have 6 altogether in the house). This one, George, has adopted me as his hooman, as he and I have almost the exact same laid-back temperament.

This is our new kitty. She a not-quite-purebred Chartreux that we adopted from a local shelter. We named her Pixel, after "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls" by Heinlein, because she's so fast she seems to teleport around the house.

It boggles my mind why Apple Computers would get rid of LaunchPad, a feature that so many people use. Why? Do they really hate their users so much that they willfully fuck with us? Is it so that they can bring the feature back in the next OS? Fuck you, Apple. I hope your stock crashes.

Programmers creating AI that programs. Writers using AI to write. Artists using AI to generate images. And now an actor creates Tilly Norwood, an AI "actress."
Why are these people so desperate to make themselves obsolete? It feels self destructive.
