🧋😏 ... i don't want to rob anyone of their joy

i just want these people to stop
harming us thru abandonment & neglect
while they personally profit off our harm
& then expect our support
as if we don't see what's going on

is it really so unreasonable for me or anyone to want this?

#CovidIsNotOver
☕😏 once again,
i'm asking the simple & reasonable question
why i or anyone else
being democided by these people
should legitimate & support them

... anyone?
anyone at all,, 🤷🏼‍♂️🤌🏼👀🐒

🧋😏 what's clear to me now
is that a lot of people have really odd ideas
abt what's an acceptable foundation for relationships;

being abandoned in an active pandemic by someone so they can personally profit off your harm is one of the more absurd & pitiable things people accept

i don't accept it,,
🧋😏 yeah, 'vote & relax' brought us here
- i have zero expectation it'll fix any of this;

the establishment wealthy this voting system serves just isn't interested in fundamentally changing anything,,

November walks in the PNW are so cleansing, especially when it's rainy. It's still fall, but you can feel winter coming.

To all the folks who are still wearing their respirator masks to avoid Covid, I'm with you. I wish the people who say they "know they probably should" wear a mask actually did.

🧋😏 i think we & our cities can survive a lot of things if we decide to work together so we can

right now, we have life-preserving tools 😷💉 to prevent avoidable sickness & death in an active pandemic but/& many of us are just not using them? 🤷🏼‍♂️🫠

things need to fundamentally change, fam,, 🤌🏼👀

🍵😏 i think there's some helpful perspective & solid insight here around taking trauma into consideration, understanding how we can respond effectively to dysregulation, & the importance of grounding our work in mutual care,, #LiberationLit
Reading this from @mskellymhayes.bsky.social is also helpful as I pull back from community participation a bit to meet a family health emergency, while trying to stay connected to what I will eventually, again, need to do w/others. organizingmythoughts.org/burnout-is-n...

Thank you all for the boosts and donations yesterday- it helped a lot. 🙏💚

Can we keep it going so we can make this goal?

Making a goal would really help us get back on our feet after last November's income slash (We're operating on ~$22k/yr now, and our NYS taxes are roughly half of that)
I've put it off too long

In three days we won't have money for heating fuel, feed, or groceries. We're basically fucked. I need a goal of $2000 by the end of November, about $500 of that needs to be immediate, and we've never made a goal before.

Please help.

Well, for the few of you who haven't muted me already, I'm about to post our MA needs again. Put it off as long as we could.
