Back in Canberra grilling the big banks – because digital payments shouldn’t cost you more than cash.

We’ve made real progress on fee-free digital payments, and today’s RBA review hearings were another step in the right direction.

“The (Climate Change) Authority recommends the Govt. should aim for the top of the 62-70% range, prepare for breakthroughs and setbacks, and not rule out 'overachievement,' should greater emissions reductions prove possible. This will keep us moving towards net zero emissions by 2050 at the latest”

Incredible scenes over at the coalition. Will they ever learn? Nah, it’s the voters who were wrong.

Meanwhile we’re getting on with the job we were twice elected to do.

2035 Target set at 62%-70% as recommended by the Climate Change Authority

My focus? Getting to 70% and beyond ASAP

The Liberals can tear themselves apart over this, instead I'll be getting on with it.

A huge climate report came out today and it sends a very strong message; climate action is not a nice to have, it’s a must.

Here’s what I had to say today on Sky News 📺

Here’s what that means to your budget if you have a home loan.

More work to do.

ICYMI: Latest inflation figures are in, and they’re welcome. That’s four consecutive quarters in a row that inflation is in the RBA’s band.

Under the Liberals, inflation was high and rising. Under Labor, it’s now within band and falling.

More to do.

The Liberals called the PMs trip to China indulgent.

Labor has now received two mandates to transition to renewable energy. This one bigger than the last.

That means more solar, more wind and more storage to firm it up.

Bring it on

Thank you to NSW Premier Chris Minns for supporting my re-election to represent our community in Bennelong.

I’ve been living here for nearly 20 years. I’ll always fight for what’s best for my home.

Vote 1 Jerome Laxale, and number every square.
