New post on how we can use #rstats simulations, repeated sampling and #dataviz to better understand #stats and uncertainty. Having no formal stats training, making this blog post was really helpful for me.

The coding could be optimized, and there could be some errors 😅 Happy to get any feedback!

Exciting talk by @jerhov.bsky.social in the Rudbeck seminar series, who presented his research projects on Microbiota in liver diseases. Happy to host him and his postdoc @braadland.bsky.social at Uppsala university!

Fantastic to get a new ERC grant! Why is IBD associated with both PSC and steatosis? In the #ERCCoG project #FatVersusBile we will use IBD as a window to the microbial signals from the gut that shape liver health. Exciting days! #liversky

Enthusiastic poster presentation by Sara Tjønnfjord at #TLM24. Colectomy in PSC is associated with changes in blood biomarkers - and they likely reflect changes in the liver disease - except for «true microbial» metabolites - which are surgically removed. #liversky

Great presentation by Katrine Engesæter on the impact of biomarkers in recurrent PSC - ALP and pro-C3 are independent markers of retransplantation free survival in rPSC. #TLM24 #liversky
