I'm excited to share our new pre-print led by Dr. Ga-Yeong Kim!

We introduce a new algae process model and open-source simulator for nutrient removal/recovery. The model was calibrated/validated with data from a full-scale suspended growth algal system.

I am looking to recruit 1-2 new PhD students to start in Fall 2025 at CU Boulder in either Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Our group works on aerosols (particulate matter): physical properties, indoor/outdoor transport, human exposure, etc.
